News release reader

Paste a drill results or financing release to get true width, grade times length and dilution, with the source of every figure shown.

This runs in your browser. Nothing you paste is sent anywhere or saved. It reads drill results and financing terms, does the arithmetic on them, and makes no judgement about them.

How it works

The reader looks for drill intervals written the usual ways, such as 12.0 m of 3.10 g/t Au or 1.85 g/t gold over 24.5 metres, and for simple assay tables with a length column. Lengths in feet are converted to metres, and grades in ounces per ton to grams per tonne for the grade times length figure.

If the release states true widths as a share of core length, the reader uses that range, and where it gives a true width for an interval it uses that figure. If it says true widths are not known, it leaves them blank. You can change either. Intervals that list several metals show each one.

For a private placement it picks out the amount, the units or shares and their price, the warrant terms and the shares outstanding, then works out the dilution for a holder. Fees, broker warrants and any later changes to the terms are not included, and "up to" amounts are maximums.

It reads; it does not judge. There are no verdicts on whether a result is good, and the order is the release's own. Releases are written in many ways, so check every figure against the release. Nothing you paste leaves your browser.
