How it works

A junior pays for drilling by selling new shares. Your share count stays the same while the total goes up, so your slice of the company gets smaller. That is dilution.

Shares issued are the amount raised divided by the price per share. Your ownership is your shares divided by the total. If the units come with warrants, the last figure shows your slice if every warrant is later exercised.

The amount, price and warrant terms are in the financing news release. The shares outstanding are in the latest financial statements or the company's filings on SEDAR+.
